Hats off to Worcester County Sheriff Lewis Evangelidis. As senior citizens who have attended the sheriff’s annual picnic for well over a decade, we would like to thank him for making this year’s Aug.14 senior picnic at SAC Park in Shrewsbury the best yet.
This year’s senior picnic was by far the most fun and memorable one of them all, with so many great volunteers to help and such superb organization. Thanks to Mr. Evangelidis, every senior enjoyed a complimentary soft drink and BBQ, fun bingo games and free raffle tickets. What a truly wonderful afternoon.
From beginning to end, Mr. Evangelidis really made this year’s annual senior picnic a very special one. For us, it stands out from all the rest.
