The Landmark
Holden-As part of Sheriff Lew Evangelidis’s Community Outreach Program of the Worcester County House of Correction, inmates started painting the exterior of the Jefferson School administrative offices and early childhood center in Holden on Aug. 5, and the work was completed last week.
Paint was donated by Sherwin-Williams through the efforts of Wachusett Regional School Committee member James Mason of Sterling, school superintendent Anthony Gasbarro said. The district supplied paint brushes, scrapers, ladders and food for the inmates. Pictured is Evangelidis, left, with deputy school superintendent Darryll McCall
