Sheriff’s Senior Picnic In Shrewsbury Draws Crowd

SHREWSBURY, Mass. – Worcester County Sheriff Lew Evangelidis hosted more than 1,000 seniors from throughout the county for the Sheriff’s Annual Senior Picnic held Aug. 18 at SAC Park in Shrewsbury. This year’s picnic boasted the biggest crowd in the event’s history.

“As sheriff, hosting the annual senior picnic is one of the biggest highlights of the year. It’s always a great honor to give back to our seniors who have given so much to their communities,” Evangelidis said in a statement. Read more…
